Makes me want to look at all the old books in our house (and trust me there are MILLIONS- we have a second hand bookshop, we specialize in children's illustrated, local history, military, transport and Bronte interest) So all of my special books are at home-home but I do have a rather nice copy of The Magic Pudding by Norman Lindsay here in Cambridge! It's a 1960 Australian reprint with dust jacket. I believe this story is simply about an ill-mannered pudding.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14380820565054119941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1392093416274792452.post-42346595548643880602009-11-20T00:53:40.392-08:002009-11-20T00:53:40.392-08:00The story was written just for the illustrator, an...The story was written just for the illustrator, and it's a great pairing. The next time I'm in Barter Books (possibly the best bookshop in the England) I will track it down - I'm pretty sure they'll have an old, dusty copy kicking about somewhere. The artwork looks wonderful too!Sminky Minkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00040709464621969100noreply@blogger.com
